A remarkable personality, Suren SAHAKYAN has received a solid education in physics and mathematics, is perfectly fluent in Russian and English, is an outstanding chess player, and possesses rare talents in computer science and communication. He made the fortunate choice to put these precious abilities at the service of one of the most dynamic charity organizations from the diaspora, working in Armenia for its wellbeing and development: the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA).

Since 2021, I have had the privilege of collaborating with Suren SAHAKYAN, who kindly agreed to design, build, and launch our online Glossary of Armenian Architectural Terminology, an important task that is currently nearing completion. During these years of working together, I discovered in Suren SAHAKYAN, in addition to the theoretical and technical skills mentioned above, two essential qualities for the development of our Glossary: great intellectual rigor and a deep aesthetic sense.
